Both Sides and The Center featured literary readings and performances enacting various levels of proximity, intimacy, and distance. Both Sides started with a reading and reception at the Schindler House on August 19th.

John Lautner 100th Birthday Tour
The MAK Center partnered with The John Lautner Foundation for a house tour on the occasion of John Lautner's 100th birthday.
Reading in the Garden with Pierre Guyotat
The MAK Center hosted an evening reading with novelist and playwright Pierre Guyotat, introduced by Sylvère Lotringer and co-presented with Semiotext(e). Guyotat read from Coma (Semiotext(e), 2010).
